Adirondacks/ Mt. Marcy/ Lake Placid
Holiday Weekend Getaway - Limited Capacity
Ice Climbing, Snow Shoeing, Cross Country Skiing and/ or Mountaineering
(Optional Sunday/ early departure possible)

Saturday: Option A - Full Day of Ice Climbing
(All Levels of experience welcome)
At one of many many different locations in Keene Valley/ Lake Placid region.
We provide all technical gear. Participants will need to bring a day pack and appropriate winter clothing.
Notes on Ice Climbing:
- Step by Step Instructions from our guides for beginners
- Harder climbs and more advanced routes for stronger climbers - up to 80 ft ice wall
Saturday: Option B - Day of Snow Shoeing and/ or Cross Country Skiing
Full Day Outing: Until everyone is tired and/ or ready for hot chocolate.
Sunday: Option A - One-Day Ascent of Mt. Marcy
Mount Marcy, at 5,344 ft (1,629 m), is the highest mountain in the Adirondack Mountain Range and the highest point in New York State. It is a popular destination for hikers due to its stature and great views. The mountain is located in the heart of the Adirondack High Peaks Region in the High Peaks Wilderness Area.
No previous mountaineering experience is required to register. However, participants should be physically prepared and well equipped for a rigorous all day experience.
Sunday: Option B - Snow Shoeing to Marcy Dam
Intermediate Snow Shoeing Expedition to Marcy Dam - 4 mile r/t, rolling hills
Sunday: Option C - Lake Placid
Visit to Lake Placid; Ice Skating, Shopping, or just enjoying brunch and taking in this pristine Olympic village.
Monday: Option A & B - Additional Day of Ice Climbing or Mountaineering
Many locations to choose from; Group Choice.
Monday: Option C - Lake Placid
Brunch in town, shopping, day at leisure, etc...
Pricing & Details:
$299 - Early Bird Special - if you sign up by Wednesday, January 25
$345 - Regular Price - if you sign up thereafter
Included:
- Fully licensed & insured Guides
- All Technical Gear! Mountaineering boots, crampons and ice axe, helmet, etc
- Round Trip Transportation. To/ from NYC and NJ Pick up upon request
- Accommodations in Private Country Home (walking distance to Lake Placid)
- Breakfasts (Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
Activity Options:
- Full day of Ice Climbing $120 each - all gear included
- Full day of Snow Shoeing/ Mountaineering: $100 each
- White Face Skiing/ Snow Boarding at cost of lift tickets
- Cross Country Skiing (additional day) $50
- Snow Shoeing (additional day) $50
- Snowmobile, Ice Skating, etc. at cost of rental equipment...
Departure Friday at about 5.45 pm (Depending on group preference)
Returning Monday at about 7/ 8.00 pm (Depending on traffic)
Friday night depart from New York City into Adirondacks - a 4/5 hour ride:
Transport: Ford 15 passenger van
Capacity: 10 participants

I had a great time on Saturday ! The soreness that I'm still feeling in my upper arms was worth it, can't wait until the hikes start up again.
All the leaders do a great job at encouraging and are very patient and calm in instructing. One weekend I'll take off to go on a longer trip with D.O. again, I'm so greatful for a group like this, keep up the good work.

Registration is refundable up to 15 business days prior to the activity date minus a $50 administrative & processing fee per ticket. Within 15 business days of the activity date all purchases are final and Non-Refundable unless we can replace you. A partial credit may be assigned and forwarded to your next activity with us.
